EXTRACT FROM MINUTE OF EXECUTIVE COUNCIL. 6th April, 1903.

Council considered the charges brought

against Mr.J.J.McMichael, Sanitary Inspector. Mr.McMichael,

who had been directed to be in attendance, was asked whether

he had any statement to make, and replied that he had nothing

to add to his letter of the 23rd ultimo. No further questions

were asked. Upon his withdrawal, the Council advised that

Mr.McMichael be forthwith suspended from the exercise of his

duties and that the Secretary of State should be asked to

approve of his dismissal from the Service.
